Grace Returns to Barclays

On Tuesday November 25th, The Grace Gremlins returned to the Barclays Center for the second time. Barclays Center opened up in 2012 and has been a big asset to Brooklyn.  Its played host to many great games and concerts over the past few years and is one of the newer arenas in the country. The Boys Varsity played Berkeley Carroll and the girls varsity played Dalton. Last year at Barclays the girls and boys both played at Barclays against Berkeley Carroll. Its a big deal to play at Barclays because the Nets play there and its famous. The Nets were the first professional team since the Dodgers to play in Brooklyn.  Not many schools get to play there so its a big deal that Grace is able to play there.  Both games were really close but Grace suffered close defeats to Dalton and Berkeley Carroll. We as spectators enjoyed the experience as well because it was also fun to sit up close and watch basketball in one of the coolest arenas in New York. It was quite an experience to watch the teams play because it felt like a real game. The Grace community was out in full support cheering on the gremlins and everyone enjoyed the experience. As a bonus after the Grace games, people had the opportunity to stay for the college games if they wanted to. Those were also fun. Overall, Barclays Center brought a lot of fun and memories to the Grace community.
