I like this guy/girl at school. What do I do?

Try talking to him/her. You are you, just act yourself. If s/he likes you for you then s/he is worth spending time on. But if you are listening to what other people are telling you to do, then s/he will not fall for you, but who s/he thinks you are.

Honestly, do what you want and not because you care what other people think about you. If you are interested, go for it! Don’t stop yourself from being happy to conform yourself to what you think your friends want you to be.
