Advisory Announcements 4/20/15

Hi everybody! Today is Monday, April 20 and here are the announcements for this coming week.
Hall Pass is here! Performances are Friday, April 24th at 7pm and Saturday, April 25th at 2pm and 7pm. Reserve your tickets through the link Ms. Jacob sent out last week.

There will be a special policy in place this week regarding staying in the building after school. Please plan to exit the building by 4:30pm Monday through Friday so the theatre production can set up lights and props for tech rehearsals. If you are on a team and need to come back to school after practice, please leave your belongings in the lower level commons and plan to exit the building by 6:00pm sharp. No one should be upstairs after 4:30, so plan ahead and have what you need downstairs in the commons. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
The students of Explorations in Sculpture welcome you to enjoy the large-scale works they have created for specific sites in our school. However, these pieces are more fragile than they appear. Please enjoy responsibly: Look, but do not touch. We are excited to hear what you think of the art. Thank you!
The GSA will be meeting on Friday at 12:30 in room 303.  Come talk about our plans for a Day of Silence and Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Join us in the writing center for Amazing Grace this Thursday at 12:30
9th and 10th graders who are interested in applying to represent GCS at the annual “From Diversity to Community” conference at Dalton, please respond to the email from Ms. Chaloner.
The Student Government will be hosting a chocolate fountain bake sale this Friday and will also be running a Coffeehouse on May 15th. More details to come about sign-ups to perform.
On Wednesday from 2:00-2:40 p.m., we have a special assembly in the MPR to listen to the China and France trip presentations. Please sit by advisory for attendance.
Thanks for listening and have a great week!
