Team Blue vs Team White – Go Gremlins!

The student government has something new and exciting for the high school student body! Our community has been divided into two teams: blue and white. The blue team is lead by Ms. Dilley and Mr. Todd while the white team is lead by Ms. Foote and Ms. Walker. Each team will receive points from various events throughout the year such as Halloween and hopefully a field day at the end of the year in the spring. At the end of the year points will be tallied up and the winner will be awarded a prize for that year. The teams have been created in hopes to strengthen the community, create multi-grade connections and build school spirit! Jane Platt, co-leader of the Junior class, explained that she hopes to have some sort of event in the near future to raise money for shirts for each team (everyone keep an eye out for details to come!). If you have any ideas for fun ways to contribute to the team’s spirit please email the student committee!

Monday morning’s Halloween parade – the first team event – was a success! Many students’ costumes showcased their creativity and Halloween spirit.
