There are a plethora of different coffee shops around Grace Church.

Kat S. ‘27 believes that they have “amazing pastries,” and “unexpectedly better coffee.” The TikTok-viral bakery specializes in various cake flavors and both sweet and savory pastries. A highlight is their Cinnamon roll. Although they are famous for their desserts, their coffee is also a must-get.
#4 The fourth coffee shop around Grace Church is Lukin Coffee. The coffee shop is a five-minute walk away from school, located on the corner of Broadway and E 8th. For this shop in particular, customers can only order through their app. They have various types of coffee and specialize in creative matcha flavors.
#3 The third-best coffee shop is, unsurprisingly, Librae. Mara M. ‘27 loves the coffee shop for their amazing coffee. She goes there to study and loves the convenient location. Micah W. ‘26 also loves Librae, but he “love[s] their baked goods and tea,” rather than coffee. Librae is an amazing spot for studying, sweet treats, and coffee.
#2 The second-best coffee shop around Grace is The Bean. Many students enjoy going to The Bean because of their multitude of locations (3) that are conveniently located around the school. Many students go there because of their smoothies, acai bowls, pastries, and, of course, coffee. Chaya M. ’28 and Lola S. ‘28 both recommend The Bean because of its smoothie flavors and study spots.
The best coffee shop around Grace is, unsurprisingly, Mud. Because of the convenient location, you can see many of the Grace community, students and teachers alike, making trips to Mud before school, grabbing coffee, chai, and amazing muffins. For an out-of-lunch option, they also have wraps. For a sit-down option, they also have a location in the East Village. Kate B. ‘29, Mara M. ‘27, and Hannah S. ‘27 all recommend the convenient coffee shop.
