Puppies, Patriots, Seahawks, and Bunnies: Who is the Most Popular at Grace?

Media clipped from ABC.

This Sunday, the New England Patriots will face off against the Seattle Seahawks in the most anticipated football game of the year. The Super Bowl is being held at Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area of California. This will be the Patriots’ eleventh Super Bowl appearance, ending in six wins. The Seahawks have competed in three prior Super Bowls, winning one in 2014.

As the day approaches, I wonder how the Grace community is preparing. Many are hanging out with friends and family. Nelly Z. ’28 is “hosting a lot of people at [her]” and “spend[ing] a lot of time with [her] family.” When asked what team her family is rooting for, she answered very confidently. “We do not like the Patriots, so we are rooting for the Seahawks.” Her family is originally New York Giants fans, so they are “choosing the next best option.”

However, Miles F. ’27 is, in fact, “rooting for the Patriots.” He decided when he was five that he would join the “bandwagon.” He also watches the TikTok account of Ann Micheal Maye, Drake Maye’s wife. He will be excitedly watching the game, hoping his team will win.

Maggie S. ’26 is not cheering for any particular team; however, she is excited to watch Bad Bunny’s highly anticipated halftime performance. She would only watch the actual game with friends or family. Stella F. ’27 is only watching the Puppy Bowl instead of the actual game.

Grace students are watching the Patriots versus Seahawks or the Puppy Bowl, alone or with family and friends!
