Varsity Girls Basketball in the PSAA Championship

One of the big components of our school that we take pride in is our athletic program. We are an up-and-coming school with a lot of promise in athletics. One of our most successful teams so far is Varsity Girls Basketball. This season has been a strong one in regards to how they are playing. They have a 16-3 record and are a perfect 13-0 in league play. Angelika Rodriguez ’18, who plays on the team, says that their success comes from playing like a team and working together.  She also gave credit to the coaches by complimenting the plays they run. They have been dominating most of the other teams and are winning by as many as 30 points. They have been having an amazing season so far and are in the playoffs. Tuesday they beat Avenues, Wednesday they won again with an impressive 46-16 performance, and today are looking to win the PSAA league title at Bay Ridge Prep at 5:30pm. Go Gremlins and good luck in the championship game today!
