A New York City Christmas
Happy Holidays, from the Grace Gazette! Since this is the last week of school before break, we hope you have a fantastic holiday. Need some fun activities? We’ve got plenty that you absolutely can’t miss!
Le Parker Meridien, a well known hotel in NYC is currently hosting a “Gingerbread Extravaganza” in their very own lobby. The display will be up until January 6th so make sure to catch all of the New York themed works of art. The New York Botanical Garden Train Show is open now through January 16th, 2017. The display includes over 100 landmarks created by the artist, Paul Busse. This year is even more special, marking it the 25th anniversary of the show.
Holiday Markets in New York are a necessity in a holiday activity checklist. From jewelry, art, and clothing to an abundance of food, Holiday Markets in Union Square, Bryant Park, Columbus Circle, and Astoria’s Hall and Beer Garden have it all! Make sure to walk down 5th Avenue and take a look at the Macy’s holiday windows, including famous characters such as Charlie Brown and the characters of South Park. Other large department stores, such as Bloomingdales and Saks also have their holiday displays up and running.
Rock around the christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and have a blast ice skating at the rink, not only at Rockefeller Center, but also Wollman Rink and Bryant Park. A great place for family and friends of all ages.
The Grace Gazette wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
