Media Provided by Abby G. &#8217;26.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Grace, students pursue their passions and interests through clubs, sports teams, and affinity spaces. The school offers a plethora of clubs, including Political Activism and Ethical Hacking, as well as several sports teams, from Basketball to Tennis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stella L.G. \u201827 explained that she is a student ambassador, a peer leader, and last year was the Club Leader for Knitting and Crochet. Technically, she is also a member of the Red Cross club, which is put in air quotes. Stella laughed, \u201cI am on the roster, certainly on the roster.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, Anaika M. \u201827 is a member of numerous clubs and sports teams. This season, she was on Grace\u2019s Squash Team and is in line to be the team\u2019s captain next year as a senior. Anaika is nominally in the Red Cross club, but, like Stella, she put her membership in air quotes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, clubs and affinity spaces provide students with opportunities to reflect on their personal identities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anika V. \u201827 is the peer leader of Grace\u2019s Asian Affinity group. Anika feels that this club \u201cis really a unifying front for Asian people\u201d at Grace. Additionally, Anika is a member of the Grace Theater Company, where she has been the lead in past school productions. She feels that \u201cas a lead, I am pretty knowledgeable about theater.\u201d She enjoys mentoring younger members of the company and, hopefully, spreading her advice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Grace, whether it is the performing arts or supporting the Red Cross, Grace students are involved in myriad clubs, affinity spaces, and organizations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Wilson U. \u201827, the author, is the leader of the Young Democrats club and a staff writer for<\/em> The Grace Gazette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pictured: The Red Cross Club 2025-26.
