{"id":742,"date":"2017-02-01T11:30:09","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T16:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inside.gcschool.org\/gracegazette\/?p=742"},"modified":"2017-02-01T11:30:09","modified_gmt":"2017-02-01T16:30:09","slug":"photographs-womens-march-nyc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gracegazette.org\/wordpress1\/photographs-womens-march-nyc\/","title":{"rendered":"Photographs from the Women&#8217;s March NYC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Declan Slonim &#8217;19 photographed the Women&#8217;s March in New York City on January 21.<\/p>\n<p>I distinctly remember being inspired when I heard that my friend&#8217;s brother had gone out on his bike to take pictures of the Black Lives Matter protests that took place at night. I have always found a great respect and incentive when seeing or hearing about investigative photographers. I think it&#8217;s because, not only do you record history, but you go on an adventure as well. A few years have past since that moment when I heard about the women\u2019s march in New York. I quickly got on a Citi Bike and went straight to the heart of the protest with my camera.
