Valentine’s Day is coming up, and whether you are single or in a relationship, teenagers are already anticipating their plans for Valentine’s Day this year. As times are changing, so are teens\u2019 expectations for Valentines\u2019 Day, as the meaning of the holiday for the teens of today has changed from what it may have been in the past. While some hold significance to the day, others are indifferent. To find out the views of our generation\u2019s teens, I asked a bunch of single and committed teens about their expectations for the Valentines Day coming up. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Chase Gardner<\/b>: Obviously I think that I will get a lot on Valentine\u2019s Day, both at home and at school, and get a lot of chocolate. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Jeremiah Wilkins<\/b>: My expectations are that hopefully I will be with a woman that I will ask to be my valentine. If that doesn\u2019t work out, then I always have Jack Posner, and him and I can have a nice dinner and talk about how the world has failed us many times. <\/span><\/p>\n

Brett Borthwick<\/b>: I don\u2019t really have expectations. It\u2019s better not to expect things and then you can just be pleasantly surprised. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Ava Dupont<\/b>: I don\u2019t really have any expectations, I think me and my friends are just gonna go out to dinner on Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamie Aijala<\/b>: I\u2019m probably just gonna go spend the day with my girlfriend and take her out to dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sasha Q<\/b>: I think it\u2019s gonna be pretty good, my girlfriend and I will probably go to my house and hang out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tess Dimenna<\/b>: I don\u2019t really have any\u2026 it\u2019s on a Thursday or a Wednesday, so I\u2019m doing something on the weekend instead, like dinner\u2026 also my anniversary with my boyfriend is right before Valentine\u2019s Day so we\u2019re doing stuff for that instead. <\/span><\/p>\n

George Payne<\/b>: I hope to have a very good time and to give many kind Valentine\u2019s and eat lots of Valentine candy. <\/span><\/p>\n

Emma Seitz<\/b>: Me and my friend are getting each other heart-shaped chocolates and roses and we\u2019re gonna bring it to each other on Valentine\u2019s Day. <\/span><\/p>\n
