Cassie B.<\/strong> has been working with The Gazette<\/em> since her freshman year and is now the Editor-in-Chief! She brings a lively yet down-to-earth attitude to the paper. From delving into the depths of what it means to be a strongman to the facts of the TikTok ban, Cassie brings a critical lens to all she does. She loves to read, dabbling in Dostoevsky and Keegan, and likes to share her love of hope-core with her advisory family. She is also a Dylanologist, a super fan of Bob Dylan. When Cassie\u2019s on the beat, you know the work\u2019s complete<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiona M.<\/strong> is a dedicated member of The Graze Gazette<\/em>, having risen to the position of Managing Editor after three years of working on the paper. She enjoys doing anything crafty, as well as spending her free time running. She spent her summer participating in an International Relations program at Cambridge University, in addition to holding two jobs: babysitting and working at a jewelry store, she also designed their website. She enjoys editing and teaching, which are vital to her role at The Gazette<\/em>. You may find her watching the television series One Day or Game of Thrones. She is ready and excited to take on her role this year and looks forward to editing and teaching the future Grace journalists.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Caleb L.<\/strong>, the Senior Deputy Editor of the Grace Gazette and co-leader of Green Griffins, can often be found in the art room directing the next issue of ephemera. You can also find Caleb on the fencing strip, jabbing his way to victory. Caleb never fails to sneeze in threes! This year at the Grace Gazette, Caleb aims to be an exquisite editor who fosters creativity.

Serena H. <\/strong> is thrilled to be back at The Gazette<\/em> as a Deputy Editor! When she\u2019s not crafting sharp stories or fine-tuning her peers\u2019 prose, you can find her at a rock or EDM show or teaching toddlers how to ice skate. A true Francophile and fashion enthusiast, Serena is always looking for inspiration, whether from the pages of niche publications or the streets of Paris (in spirit, for now). This year, she hopes to cultivate a buzzing newsroom energy and deliver stories that engage the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sally P.<\/strong> is the media director of The Grace Gazette<\/em>. Outside of school, she likes playing guitar, discussing films, and writing poetry. Sally has had some unusual encounters, including being bitten by a bat and getting hit by a gallon of milk! This year, she hopes to enhance her writing skills and delve deeper into her passions for film and literature through her work with The Gazette<\/em>.

Zarina M.<\/strong> is a senior columnist for The Gazette<\/em>. She can be found outside of Grace either skiing, sewing, or on the tennis court. You will often see the Medeiros byline attached to articles breaking down national and international news reports or new policies at Grace. This year, Zarina aims to delve into the legal world with a collection of articles on contemporary court cases.

Wesley T.<\/strong> is a Senior Columnist for The Grace Gazette<\/em>. He has a passion for creative and critical writing and is excited about the future of his promising career. While not an aspiring journalist, Wes enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and rescuing kittens from trees. A fun fact about him is that he likes the piano and violin. He prefers Percy Jackson over Harry Potter, and he\u2019s to continue to argue for the things he believes in through The Grace Gazette.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Antonia A.<\/strong> is a new staff writer for The Grace Gazette. When she is not dabbling in reading fiction books, she can be spotted writing or taking photos of the world around her. Coming from Russia and Kazakhstan, Antonia has a diverse and multicultural perspective, which she incorporates into her writing. She is a big Leonard Cohen fan, specifically his poetry and lyrics. She is incredibly excited to bring this same level of enthusiasm to her article writing, where she knows every word matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ben A.<\/strong>is a new addition to The Grace Gazette<\/em> this year. As a staff writer, he brings his passion for reporting on both current events and Grace-specific news to the paper. Simone B.<\/strong> is a sophomore at Grace involved in the Grace Gazette. She plays soccer on our high school’s team. Simone’s favorite book is Little Women, and she enjoys watching New Girl. Simone’s favorite season is summer because she gets to spend it in the ocean. She has a new baby sister. Simone aims to bring a diverse range of perspectives on events within our school community.

India B.<\/strong> is a junior and staff writer for The Grace Gazette who likes to write stories and get involved with her community. She enjoys writing about student life, the Grace community, and fun restaurant reviews. Besides the Gazette, she is the president of the Glamour Gals chapter at Grace Church, which focuses on the fight to end elder loneliness within nursing homes. India’s favorite movie is A Rainy Day in New York, and her favorite color is red.

Olivia C.<\/strong>, the Grace Cast Director and co-leader of ephemera, can often be found running on the track, practicing to beat her five-kilometer personal best. Olivia spends much of her time expanding her Letterbox index by watching movies with her dog Cosmo. Eleanor C.<\/strong> is a senior at Grace Church School. It\u2019s her first year writing for The Grace Gazette. She is a staff writer and social media coordinator. Her interests include literature, fashion, and trying new restaurants. A fun fact about Eleanor is that she works at Love Shack Fancy. This year, she hopes to write student interest pieces to share community news with her readers.

Cate C.<\/strong> is a Junior at Grace Church School. She joined the Grace community in 2021 as a 7th grader and is passionate about Volleyball, Swimming, and Softball, playing on the school’s varsity teams; however, you will often find her injured. Cate\u2019s favorite thing to do outside of school is watch hockey games; she is a big New York Rangers fan! Something you may not know about Cate is that her favorite artist is Tate McRae, whom she has seen live three times! Cate loves the fall, and you will most definitely catch her with an Iced Chai latte in hand.

Madison G.<\/strong> is a Junior at Grace Church School, who joined the community last year. Her favorite activities outside of school are tubing, wakesurfing, and wakeboarding. She loves to travel to Miami and California. Her favorite show is \u201cThe OC\u201d because she wants to live in California when she’s older. You will no doubt catch Madison cheering on a New Jersey Devils hockey game or a Miami Heat basketball game in her free time. Her favorite artist is Lorde, and her favorite song is \u201cHomemade Dynamite\u201d from her Melodrama album. She plays Basketball in the winter, and her favorite subjects in school are History and Literature. Her favorite show is \u201cThe OC\u201d because she wants to live in California.

Taylor G.<\/strong> is a staff writer and a sophomore at Grace Church School. She is on the varsity track, indoor\/outdoor, and plays soccer on our high school team. Taylor is looking to bring fun ideas and interesting articles to the Grace community.

He is passionate about reading, writing, and publishing stories covering finance and politics in the United States.

Myla I.<\/strong> is excitedly taking on her role as a first-time writer for The Grace Gazette. Although she is a new addition to the paper, she is not completely new to the world of journalism; in eighth grade, she was a member of the student paper club. This summer, she explored her leadership skills at Beach Sports camp in California, where she worked as a CIT. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, singing, and watching Grey’s Anatomy over and over. Myla is ready to take on whatever story comes her way at The Gazette this year.

For the Gazette, she is interested in writing about student policies, current events, and potentially podcasting.

Keith M.<\/strong> is thrilled to collaborate with student journalists. When he’s not in the newsroom, he teaches Spanish, a new and exciting career adventure. Previously, he taught writing at New York University, creative writing to college students incarcerated in state prisons, and English at Trevor Day School. After a stint as a daily newspaper reporter, he has worked as a freelance writer and book editor. Ultimately, he loves reading and writing and believes in the power of stories to foster curiosity, build empathy, and connect people.\u00a0
