This coming Thursday, April 12th, the Students Fighting Homelessness Club is holding a Student-Teacher concert at 4:30 pm in the Lower Commons to fundraise for the lower Manhattan homeless population. The ensemble includes Dr. Ali on violin, Mr. Diveki on electric guitar, Mr. Kadajski on saxophone, Declan Harris ‘20 on electric guitar, Justin Gibble ‘19 on drums, Mr. Leonard on electric piano, and Jiwon Simpkins ‘19 on electric bass.
The concert is an exciting venture to showcase the musical talents of the Grace community, while still serving a good cause. T-shirts and stickers will be sold and donations will be taken throughout the concert with a suggested sum of $5 per person. All funds are going towards SFH Club budget and then on to a charity of the Club’s choosing.
Following the performance, there will be a Q&A panel with members from the SFH Club and Dr. Ali’s service learning group where they will be showcasing the amazing work they have been doing over the past school year. There will be food and drink for audience members. Come support our Grace philanthropists and artists!
