Tons of Student-Led Service Projects

2012

Parents and students help recovery efforts from Hurricane Sandy and begin collecting goods for communities hardest hit.

2013

The Girl Up Club designed a Bridge Walk to raise funds for girls’ education around the globe. Students then walk from the Williamsburg Bridge to the Brooklyn Bridge and finally to Manhattan Bridge.

2015

Students in the High School Green Team visit Washington DC to work with the Friends National Legislative Committee to learn about climate lobbying.

2016

High School Service Learning students create a blood drive on Halloween, including vampire
teeth for donations.

2019

Students partake in the NYC Climate Strike.
